OUR MISSION

The ministry at Briar Fork Cumberland Presbyterian Church is affirmed on the Great Commission instituted by Jesus:

"Go ye therefore, and teach all nations baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost. Teaching them to observe all things whatever I have commanded you." (Matthew 28: 19-20)

Predicted upon the Great Commission, the Briar Fork CPCA has targeted three primary areas of emphasis in an attempt to satisfy Jesus' commandment: In reach through teaching and equipping  God's people to go forth and to make revivals targeted to the saved, the unsaved, the unchurched, and to those who have backslidden or strayed; stewardship thru teaching the people to give of their time, talent, and substance according to the Biblical method of giving (tithes/offering) in supporting the ministries of the church.
